ELECFREAKS Showcases micro:bit Solutions at ISTELive 2025

ELECFREAKS just finished its participation at ISTELive 2025, held from June 29 to July 2 in San Antonio, Texas. The four-day education technology conference provided an excellent platform for ELECFREAKS to connect with educators, showcase innovative STEM solutions, and explore new collaboration opportunities across North America and beyond.

Throughout the exhibition, ELECFREAKS' booth attracted lots of engaged visitors, including K-12 teachers, curriculum coordinators, technology directors, and educational administrators. Visitors spent substantial time exploring hands-on activities and having in-depth discussions with our team.

Product Demonstrations and Educator Interest

The hot sale products at this year's showcase included the Smart Cutebot, micro:bit XGO-Rider, and the newly launched Jacdac kit. Several educators showed interest in the Smart Cutebot programmable robot car, particularly for its hands-on approach to teaching basic coding and robotics concepts. Teachers liked how the robot car could help students visualize programming logic through movement and sensor interactions, making it easier to explain concepts like loops and conditional statements.

The micro:bit Jacdac Smart Exploration Kit caught the attention of some high school educators who were looking for modular ways to introduce students to hardware connectivity and sensor integration. Some teachers showed interest in this because they could focus on teaching programming instead of spending time fixing wire connections.

ELECFREAKS' booth served as a hub for meaningful educator engagement, attracting diverse visitors from across the education sector. The interactive demonstrations fostered genuine connections, with many educators spending extended periods exploring our micro:bit-compatible solutions.

Strategic Partnerships and Business Development

ISTELive 2025 proved valuable for advancing ELECFREAKS' North American market presence. The team talked with distributors, resellers, and education organizations about working together. Several school districts also wanted to try pilot programs with ELECFREAKS products, and some education companies were interested in partnerships.

Many existing ELECFREAKS customers also visited the booth to catch up and learn about new products. The team was happy to reconnect with these friends and had a special surprise for these returning customers - Smart Coding Watch Kits to thank them for their continued support.

Most visitors were from across the United States, with educators from different states showing strong interest in bringing ELECFREAKS' micro:bit solutions to their classrooms.

Market Insights and Educational Trends

Through conversations with educators, ELECFREAKS learned that teachers want complete STEM solutions - not just the hardware, but also software and lesson plans to go with it. Teachers also said they need training materials and guides to help them use new technology in their classrooms effectively.

The team also observed growing interest in AI and machine learning education tools, presenting potential opportunities for future product innovations around micro:bit platforms.

Looking Ahead

"ISTELive 2025 reinforced our commitment to supporting educators with accessible, engaging STEM tools," reflected the ELECFREAKS team. "The enthusiasm and creative ideas we encountered from teachers will inspire our continued innovation in educational technology."

The feedback from the conference will help guide ELECFREAKS' plans for next year. They're already working on several new micro:bit products based on what teachers told them they needed.

ELECFREAKS wants to thank all the teachers, partners, and visitors who stopped by their booth at ISTELive 2025. The conversations and suggestions they received will help them continue improving educational technology.
