Big News! We got IDEA Bronze Award!

Big news! Congratulations to our ELECFREAKS TPBot for winning the IDEA Bronze Award!

IDEA is one of the oldest and most prestigious design awards in existence. It is judged by the Industrial Design Society of America and is awarded to the top product designs in specific industrial sectors and is published in the current issue of Business Week magazine. The awards are based on design factors such as design innovation, user experience, and user value, as well as the perfect combination of design creativity and user experience.

The ELECFREAKS TPBot was developed with this in mind. As mentioned in the introduction to the IDEAS award: Programming is the language of the world, TPBot is a smart coding toy that helps children to learn how to code while having fun. Out of the box, it has built-in functions that can be used as a fun toy. Plug in the micro:bit board and it becomes a teaching aid. Children learn to code using MakeCode by programming the TPBot to perform tasks such as following a specified path across the floor. TPBot is compatible with Lego blocks and extends children's imagination and creativity.
