ELECFREAKS Participated the WRO Final 2025 as One of the Silver Sponsors in Singapore

The World Robot Olympiad is to help young people develop their creativity and problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging way.

They do this by organizing robotics competitions in four different categories for students aged 8-19 years.

World Robot Olympiad™ Association is an independent non-profit organization. All revenue from sponsorships and fees is invested in support of our mission, which is to promote robotics in STEM education worldwide.

 Align with one of the goals with ELECFREAKS that we are focusing on the micro:bit developed kits and accessories that are for students to learn coding with the robotic learning, we found WRO  is a very cool channel to have our hardware items offered as a tool to be implemented in some of the missions that can be full-filled by the young students. This is the second year for us to be the sponsors for the WRO and it is really amazing to see that our efforts have served the students quite well by helping them to achieve the goals they want to build.

It’s a great experience to participate the final this time and we were at booth J13 with many amazing technical companies gathering together to see the most advanced robotics and the projects brought with the world-wide creators.

This year's World Robotics Competition (WRO), hosted by the Singapore Space Academy, showcased exceptional creativity, advanced engineering, and cross-cultural collaboration. From complex task challenges to autonomous robot demonstrations, the atmosphere was vibrant and engaging.

As an official international partner and sponsor of WRO, ELECFREAKS is proud to support this global platform, empowering students through hands-on robotics education.

At our booth, participants were able to find:

Micro:bit-based robotic kits;

Smart city and environmental themed project kits;

Hands-on demonstrations including motors, sensors, and structural building platforms;

Innovative solutions designed to make STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning more accessible to everyone.

We were delighted to interact with teams from around the world, share ideas, explore technologies, and celebrate their remarkable achievements.

We are bringing with our ELECFREAKS WRO Future Innovator’s set for displaying and a few cases that could be built from them. Our WRO FI set is the kit we collaborated with the WRO teams to facilitate with the kids with the micro:bit solutions, it is based on the micro:bit--- a board with graphical programming method in MakeCode platform, which is quite simple and easy for children to create their own programs. And it equips with the Nezha Pro breakout board that are working with the micro:bit, it has a strong performance with lithium battery included, and with 12 ports that could be connected with the sensors/actuators for your project. More surprisingly, it is compatible with Lego bricks and in this way you can do many structures with these blocks, which give you immensely possibilities for projects.

In this kit, we are providing about 20 units different sensors and actuators and more than 2000 building blocks, this is a good tool specifically for the Future Innovator’s category.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the organizers, mentors, volunteers, sponsors, and all the talented young people who made this event so unforgettable. We look forward to continuing this fantastic journey with the world-wide creators and see you all in the next final in Puerto Rico!
