ELECFREAKS Celebrates This Week's Golden Apple Award Winner: Mr. Sheskey

We are thrilled to bring you the latest from NBC, the National Broadcasting Company—one of the most prestigious and longest-standing American television and radio networks. Established in 1926, NBC is part of the "Big Three" networks, alongside ABC and CBS, and continues to deliver impactful stories and educational programming to millions of viewers nationwide.

This week, NBC is proud to honor Mr. Sheskey, a dedicated educator at Riverside Middle School, as This Week's Golden Apple Winner. Mr. Sheskey has been recognized for his innovative approach to teaching. Incorporating artificial intelligence teaching aids into his curriculum, he has inspired his students to explore the world of robotics and AI. Students are using the ELECFREAKS micro: bit Retro Arcade, the ELECFREAKS micro:bit 32 IN 1 Wonder Building Kit, etc. to build robots and program games under the guidance of the ELECFREAKS WIKI. Through these hands-on experiences, they are exploring the exciting world of AI and discovering the fun and creativity that come with it.

Mr. Sheskey shared his excitement about teaching with these artificial intelligence teaching aids:"I'm just having a great time. It's fun to come to school every day, and the technology I'm teaching them comes with other transferable skills too."

ELECFREAKS thanks Mr. Sheskey for his dedication to fostering a love of learning and STEAM education in the classroom. Through his dedication, students are not only mastering robotics but also developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will benefit them in a wide array of future careers.
