Recently, ELECFREAKS successfully held 19 provincial selection contests for the 4th National Youth Science and Technology Education Achievement Exhibition Competition in China, nearly 1,200 teams and over 2,000 participants took part in the event. This technology extravaganza lasted for a month, from the initial competition in Beijing to the final competition in Henan. It showcased the boundless enthusiasm of teenagers for technological innovation.
The "Exploring the Future" Robot Challenge, independently designed by ELECFREAKS, is a task-based competition that covers a wide range of knowledge areas including structural construction, intelligent open-source hardware, logic algorithm programming, and visual recognition. Participants are required to design their own competition robots to complete tasks such as autonomous line following, manual remote control, and ball tracking using AI cameras. The competition is set at a high level to develop students' comprehensive skills in structural construction, logical programming, hands-on abilities, machine learning, innovation, creativity, and teamwork. It aims to enhance their programming application skills and ignite teenagers' potential for technological innovation.
As the technical support unit for this competition, ELECFREAKS has supported the Ministry of Education's whitelist competition for four consecutive years. By continuously optimizing the difficulty of the tasks, participant engagement, and team coordination details, ELECFREAKS has consistently enhanced the participants' experience and overall skills. The 2024 competition will focus on AI visual recognition, assessing participants' knowledge in logical programming, mathematics, and algorithm validation.
